Tangoholiday was founded in 2003 to promote Tango tourism in Puglia: a historic region surrounded on three sides by crystal clear waters and many beautiful beaches. Puglia is a land of light and natural beauty with a unique culinary culture. Many towns and cities throughout Puglia are also home to some fantastic examples of Baroque architecture, not to mention the numerous castles and fortified country estates, built to hold off attacks from the Saracens in the 13th century.

Covering the landscape are also olive trees dating back many hundreds of years that have taken on such beautiful forms that they can only be described as natural sculptures. Puglia is undoubtedly a place of unimaginable beauty – highlighted by the Caves of Castellana which will truly take your breathe away. In Alberobello, an ancient town now recognised by UNSECO World Heritage you can see the ‘Trulli’, conical shaped homes that have been in the area for many hundreds of years as well as visit many other nearby ancient towns such as Locorotondo, officially recognised as one of Italy’s most beautiful towns. On the coast, Polignano a Mare sits on the edge of a cliff overlooking the transparent Adriatic sea, a place of picturesque beauty.
Puglia is a region where Tango is also very popular and for more than a decade has attracted many world class dancers. With Tangoholiday you will dance in popular milongas set in the historical centres of some of Puglia’s most impressive towns as well as other different milongas every evening of your stay.
We look forward to dancing with you and sharing our passion for Tango.
